Five Finger Death Punch

It was in 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada, that the American band Five Finger Death Punch launched the initiative of guitarist Zoltan Bathory. Ivan Moody on singing, Chris Kael on bass, Jason Hook on guitar and Jeremy Spencer on drums complete the training in which Matt Snell (bass), Caleb Andrew Bingham and Darrell Roberts (guitars) had previously featured. It is in their love for martial arts, highlighted by Hong Kong kung fu cinema, that one must find the origins of the name chosen by the quintet. It was at the end of 2006 that a first self-produced album, The Way of the Fist, was released. Thanks to this effort FFDP manages to sign with Firm Music and publishes a digital EP for the US market, Pre Emptive Strike , in 2007. During the same period, the musicians found themselves at the casting of Korn's Family Values Tour, then in support of Bakersfield's formation on the next, the Bitch We Have A Problem Tour. Following their stage marathon in 2008, Five Finger Death Punch shares the stage with bands such as Chimaira , All That Remains or Disturbed , and participates in many North American and European festivals. In 2009, War Is the Answer reached 7th place in the American top albums. For the third opus, American Capitalist, which appeared in 2011, FFDP decided to renew its confidence in Kevin Churko, the producer already in command of War Is the Answer. In 2013, the band released the first part of its fourth album, The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1 , which recorded the participations of Rob Halford ( Judas Priest ) and Max Cavalera ( Soulfly ), followed by Volume 2, which was considered the band's fifth studio album. Five Finger Death Punch returns in 2015 with his sixth burn, Got Your Six.
