Biography

Fleshgod Apocalypse formed in 2007 in Rome under the impulse of Palo Rossi (Basse / Chant), Francesco Paoli (Guitare / Chant), Cristiano Trionfera (Guitare / Chant / Orchestration) and Francesco Struglia (Batterie). Still unknown at the beginning, the Italians signed a deal in 2008 with Neurotic Records and spin with sizes like Napalm Death, Hate Eternal, Behemoth, Suffocation, Origin and Dying Fetus. The band underwent some line-up changes: drummer Francesco Struglia left the post to Francesci Paoli, but Tommaso Riccardi (Guitare / Chant / Orchestrations) was also recruited to expand the riffs and melodies. Fleshgod Apocalypse records the Oracles album released on Willowtip Records and Candlelight Records. The band became known for their Brutal Death Metal with a symphonic trend. From then on, everything accelerated, from the ep Mafia in 2010 (with a cover of Blinded By Fear by At The Gates), the signature with the giant Nuclear Blast Records to the release of the second album, Agony , in August 2011 with the addition of Francesco Ferrini (Piano) to the line-up. The Italians then toured the United States with Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder, then Decapitated at the end of 2011. The following year was also well-filled with a tour in England with The Black Dahlia Murder and Skeletonwitch, then in South Africa with local bands. In 2013 Labyrinth was released and a new European tour began with Septic Flesh , Carach Angren and Descending , then with Wintersun , Starkill and Arsis in the United States. In 2014 and 2015 Fleshgod Apocalypse is continuously on the roads alongside Kataklysm, Krisiun, The Black Dahlia Murder, Septic Flesh, Insomnia, but still Ne Obliviscaris or Psycroptic. The musicians then went on to compose a fourth opus, King , which arrived in early 2016, still on Nuclear Blast Records.
