Biography

In 2000 in Glasgow formed The Psychotic Pandas , which became Flood of Red in 2005, but the concrete came only in 2007 with Lost in the Light , an EP that marked the first Scottish movement in a screamo register. They have to wait two years before offering their first album, Leading Everything Behind is released by Brian McTernan ( Converge , Cave In , Thrice ...), the sound is more focused on post-hardcore. Flood of Red is not the combo genre to grill the stages, their second maxi They Must Be Building Something comes into the world in 2012, and once again sees the band mutating its music to something darker and more melodic. Mutation that really takes shape on its second mischief, Throw that comes out in 2014 draws an almost total line on the first identity of the band, here the style is purely alternative rock tinted with dark melodies borrowed a lot from post-punk; Flood of red is for the first time distributed by a label known as Superball Music ( Oceansize , And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead , Dredg ...).
