Fordamage
Biography
Vincent Dupas (guitar, singing) Anthony Fleury (bass, singing) Amélie Grosselin (guitar, singing) Pierre Marolleau (battery, singing) Formed in 2005, Fordamage is a Noise Rock quartet based in Nantes influenced by Shellac, Fugazi, The Ex, Sonic Youth or Arab On Radar. In 2006, Fordamage released an eponymous debut album on Kythibong Records , recorded by Migl Constantino. This first essay, short and brutal, is marked by the urgency and greed of creating energetic and devious music, which seems to transcribe the intense concerts that the band is accustomed to delivering. In 2006 and 2007, Fordamage toured France and Europe, sometimes on the road with their Tigre Paper, Sincabeza and Room 204 colleagues, and shared the scene with The Ex, Robocop Kraus, So So Modern, Unsane, Moller Plesset, Pneu. 2008, efficiency is still present, but Fordamage takes time in the composition of their music for a more rhythmic, more complex and more sung result, but still as intense and angry. They recorded their second album in August 2008 with Thomas Nedélech at La Fosse Aux Loups (44). Colin McLean (The Ex , Dog Faced Hermans ) then mastered this second book entitled Belgian Tango . In 2012, a follow-up was given with Volta Desviada .
