Biography

Despite its geographical origins scattered throughout the United States, Forest Fire is a New York quartet whose history begins with fragmentation, while the band records its first pieces as well as its bad ones. Influenced by both the Beatles and Bob Dylan, Survival revived a certain folk tradition of the late 1960s. This first album first released in 2008, the band then took advantage of it to broadcast it for free online in order to benefit from word of mouth and provoke its chance.
Although the first returns are more than positive, it is necessary to wait until 2009 and the meeting with the French label Talitres for the album to benefit from a physical release (April 27) and a larger-scale promotion. Survival appeared in the United States in the autumn of that year and the Americans made their first live performances, during a few festivals during the summer, before smearing the European theatres at the end of the year.
