Forgotten Tomb

Forgotten Tomb was created in 1999 by Herr Morbid and Torment, who held the position of bassist. However, he left the boat very quickly, and the group became a one man band. From the beginning, the music delivered by the band was described as cold, hateful, misanthropist and depressive. A first cassette was released in 1999: Rehearsal In Darkness , soon followed in 2000 by the first official record Obscura Arcana Mortis whose pouch, representing a baby with a gun in her mouth ready to shoot, is censored. This first true opus is a pure concentration of violent and unhealthy hatred. Two years will then pass without any release except a K7 promo. Song To Leave was released in 2002 and will mark a decisive turning point for the band. Indeed the songs are much more oppressive, suicidal, slow. The influence of Burzum , Dolorian or Shining is strongly felt in a music that will be the brand of the band for many years. In 2003, Wedebrand joined Herr Morbid, and this collaboration was born Springtime Depression, less repetitive than the previous album, and with even more melancholy. Wedebrand then left the band, but his leader, deciding to perform, recruited musicians: Razor SK (guitar), Algol (bass) and Asher (battery). The release of Love's Burial Ground in 2004, which is considered to be the main part of the band, followed. In 2007 the release of Negative Megalomania marks a turning point in the discography of the band, with the appearance of clear singing on certain passages, turning fully assumed by the band, which in 2011 reiterated with Under Saturn Retrograde that one could more call Doom / Heavy, and that will deroute a large number of fans of the first hour. In 2012, ...And Don't Deliver Us From Evil was born, with a slight return to the sound sources of the instruments. In 2013, Forgotten Tomb is still active and continues to tour in Europe.
