Biography

Behind Four Tet, it is the English Kieran Hebden who hides. If the name reminds you of something, it's because you probably saw it alongside those of Sam Jeffers and Adem Ilhan. All three have formed the Fridge group since their youth. Four Tet is therefore Kieran Hebden's side project. Hotter and more personal music, it can seduce Fridge fans but also the least fan. Evolving towards an instrumental electro rock as surprising as bubbling with good ideas, this side project will also seduce the worshippers of Autechre, Aphex Twin ... The quality of Four Tet lies above all in the purity of the sound of the samples of the instruments chosen only in the simplicity of their use (for you know, Kieran Hebden is not a man orchestra or then a modern orchestra who knows how to play all the instruments thanks to the magic of his computer). Four Tet released his first album Dialogue in 1999 and kept up to 2005 a regular rhythm of an album every two years. In 2006 he compiled on a double album his remixes of many artists (from Madvillain , to Aphex Twin via Radiohead ), and his songs remixed by himself and by other artists (Battles , Jay Dee , ...). It will take until 2010 to listen to his fifth album There Is Love In You.
