Foxing
Biography
Foxing is an Emo/Indie/Post-Rock band from St. Louis, Missouri. At the end of 2011, the group of Post-Rock Hunter Gatherer ended and it was then that Josh Coll (Basse / Chant) and John Hellwig (Battery) and Matthew Piva (Guitare) founded Foxing with the help of Conor Murphy (Chant / Trompette / Samples) and Jim Fitzpatrick (Guitare) and recorded the ep Old Songs very quickly the following year. But the band changed its two guitarists replaced by Ricky Sampson, Samuel Naumann, who only remained for a year, then Thomas Pini. Foxing recorded his first album, The Albatross , released by Count Your Lucky Stars in 2013 and re-released the following year by Triple Crown Records. In 2013 the band also released two splits with Send Away Stranger and Japanese Breakfast. Eric Hudson replaces Thomas on guitar, then they turn alongside Mewithoutyou , Seahaven , Tigers Jaw and come back in 2015 with a new album, Dealer , which is still released at the end of the year at Triple Crown Records.
