Biography
Loren Daniel Turner : guitar Eric Sean Nally : singing Schuyler Vaughn White : piano / keyboard Daisy : bass Joseph Allen Halberstadt : drums
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, the quintet established Foxy Shazam in '04. They began to compose very quickly and recorded their first album, The Flamingo Trigger , over an eight-month period. The whole is completed early '05 and the band releases the album in self-production in June. This follows a series of more than 200 concerts over 18 months in North America. Their stage performances eventually attract the attention of some people including Jesse Korman, singer of The Number Twelve Looks Like You and co-founder of Piermont Management. It is therefore quite naturally that they become one of the first groups promoted by the structure in January '07. A wise choice since the man presents them to Nick Storch of New Weathermen Records (a recent subdivision of Ferret Music) which gives them their chance.
In August, they joined the studios with Casey Bates ( Chiodos , The Number Twelve Looks Like You , This Providence ) to put into box their second effort, Introducing Foxy. As a result, they toured with Eyes Set to Kill and High School Karate and with Heavy Heavy Low Low and Dance Gavin Dance in November. At the beginning of November, the release date for the opus is January 21, 2008 and the cake is on the net well before that date.
