Francois And The Atlas Mountains
Biography
French first exiled to England, Frànçois Marry began his musical career by ensuring, among other things, the first parts of Gravenhurst and integrating Camera Obscura as a trumpeter. In 2004, he released a first album, Les Anciennes Falaises, and then assembled his Atlas Mountains (in fact, a group of friends) to record The People To Forget in 2006. In 2007, Francois And The Atlas Mountains became a real band with the arrival of Amaury Ranger (Battery), Pierre Loustaunau (Claviers) and Gérard Black (Basse).
Back in France in 2008, Frànçois multiplies symphonic projects and meets in particular a Basque polyphonic formation, Bost Gehio, which takes over Bulgarian songs, via the group Unkle Jelly Fish. Thus, Plaine Unsoundable was born in 2009 via Talitres Records, an album by Dream Pop with varied influences, sad or playful tones but always poetic. The recognition soon came and the band signed Domino Records for the release of E Volo Love in 2011 and Piano Shadow in 2014.
