Biography

Who could have predicted that Frank Turner's great boy's career would take off so quickly? To know this, it is necessary to go back a little time.
Initially there is this small London band Million Dead formed in mid-2001, 5 young fans of Denied gather to play a mix of rock and hardcore. Moult EPs and an album in 2003 released, but already at the end of 2004 Frank Turner singer of the band feels the need to try in a softer register. Accompanied by a simple acoustic guitar, he starts solo performances with a few concerts made in a first phase of bric and brocs: covers, songs by Million Dead assages, but also some compositions. Then in the face of the relative success and the oxygen puffs that these sets represent, sporadic appearances turn into a real side-project. Together, the relationship within Million Dead grew, and after the release of their second album Harmony No Harmony, the band split in September 2005. It didn't take time for Frank to take off, barely the split consumed is found in the studio for the recording of his first EP Campfire Punkrock, accompanied by the Dive Dive group on three tracks. The success of this sweet folk and rock mix is immediate and thanks to the numerous concerts (including the first parts in France opening of The Appleseed Cast and Hundred Reasons ) the album released on Xtra Mile is quickly exhausted before being re-pressed.
A month later it was on tour alongside a close musical artist, Jonah Matranga, that Frank was found. From this journey was born a magnificent 33t split with two American artist covers: The Lemonheads and Jimmie Davis&Charles Mitchell . Upon the return of this adventure, the native of Bahrain closes in studio two months from August and completes the realization of his first album Sleep Is For The Week. Always accompanied by Dive Dive , this album with very personal and sometimes political texts, gives a new nostalgic dimension to an artist often teased and funny in concert. The album was released in January 2007 and was followed by a tour with the now essentials... Dive Dive .
Just one year after the release of its first production, a new EP The Real Damage is in the bins, waiting for a tour with this time Biffy Clyro .
