Frantic Bleep

Frantic Bleep is a Norwegian progressive/experimental metal band from Kongsvinger (Hedmark County), founded in November 2001 by Patrick Scantlebury (guitar, keyboard), Eywin Sundstrom (guitar) and Karl Arthur Renstrøm (battery). As they themselves say, the three musicians first took stock of their respective influences in order to combine them, and then define the path they will follow with Frantic Bleep whose master word will be "original". Despite a relatively classic press release, the group seems to be moving towards what they describe. The group quickly got to the spot, and a year later Fluctuadmission the first (and only) demo of the group was born. There are 4 songs on which the bass and vocal parts are performed by Paul Mozart Bjørke (ex Madder Mortem ) who joins the band exclusively as a studio member. Although not fully defining what the personality of the group will be, this demo defines its contours. Following this first effort, the band received several offers from Labels, including The End Records with whom the band signed in the summer of 2003. Yet at the same time Karl Arthur Renstrøm, currently working on a solo album under the name Chandelier (Myspace), was replaced by Sten Erik Svendheim as drummer. In October of the same year the band began recording its first album The Sense Apparatus, which will last a year. The production was carried out by Patrick Scantlebury. Many of the features include Kjetil Foseid (chant), Agnete M. Kirkevaag and Christian Ruud both members of the Madder Mortem group, the first is credited for a few parts of songs (Cone ), the second is the creator of the artwork. The album received an almost unanimous opinion on its release for the effort of creativity and originality. Current 2004 and 2005, Frantic Bleep evolue's line-up: Lars Gunnar Morastseter joining the band as guitarist and Trond Sand replacing Sten Erik Svendheim with the drums. Since 2006 the band has been working on its second album (the vocal parts are expected to be provided by B.P.M Kirkevaag, also a member of Madder Mortem ) scheduled for late 2009 / early 2010. However, the lack of official publications (official website and myspace not updated for months) leaves the group unclear.
