Frigo

Having opened bands as varied as Punish Yourself , Virago , X-Syndicate , Cure , the Quimperois band Frigo no longer plays in the beginners' court. Formed in February 2000 on the basis of the band No Sens, the trio was quickly noticed on stage at festivals such as Les Vieilles Charues, Le Printemps de Bourges or the Transmusicales de Rennes. Frigo is Brendan Costaire (drums, pads), Yannick Balquier (bass, keyboard) and Max Balquier (song, guitar, samplers) who do not hide from their influences: Radiohead, Death in Vegas, Fugazi, Jesus Lizard or Kraftwerk. After their two EP Hot Songs in February 2001 and then XYZ in April 2002, Frigo was signed by Wagram and released his first album Teleportation in October 2003. Hybrid music from an electro rock post, Frigo surprises, disgusts and seduces fans of both retro and futuristic sound.
