Furze
Biography
Woe J Reaper is a Norwegian black metal figure. Present since the advent of the movement in the early 1990s, he is among the witnesses of what the phenomenon was in his heart. At that time he created his band originally called Cursed , where he was accompanied by two other characters, Mr.Kural Rocksett (bass) and Nebur The Rat (guitar). Soon they began to compose in a very honest direction towards the movement they defended, remaining in love with the deaf sound, cultivating their identity and image, and limiting their means in order to remain faithful to the idea of the music they defended. It was in 1998 that Reaper separated from his acolytes, and became completely free in his composition. Cursed became Woe J Reaper , and released two demos with ultra-limited prints. The year after, the band became definitely Furze, and released a new demo, which allowed it to sign at Apocalyptic Empire Record, a very exclusive Norwegian label. He followed an ep and the band's first album, Trident Autocrat (2000). Still attached to the black trve sound, Furze's music hardly evolves and simply cultivates its course. The following years saw the release of the band's second album, Necromanzee Cogent (2003), then the separation of the Norwegian label. Furze recommitted a demo in 2005, which this time allowed him to sign a larger contract, since, with Candlelight Records, which released the band's third album, UTD in 2007.
