Gama Bomb
Biography
The Irish of Gama Bomb are a pure product of the 1980s. Certainly the form group in 2002 in Newry, but the influences from Nuclear Assault or Overkill combined with themes referring to the Ninja or Tetris Turtles directly bring us back about twenty years. Gama Bomb was created by Joe McGuigan (Basse / Chant), Philly Byrne (Chant), Damien Boyce (Battery) Kevin Canavan (Guitare - Waylander) and Luke Graham (Guitare). The band released two demos in 2002 and 2004, foaming British scenes for a few years, before Ronan Fitzpatrick replaced Damien on drums and Domo Dixon replaced Kevin on guitar. The new line-up released their first album independently in 2005 entitled Survival Of The Fastest . But the Irish changed their drummer again with the arrival of Paul Caffrey. Very quickly the band was noticed on the scene Thrash Metal so that he obtained a signature on Earache Records ( Evile, Municipal Waste ) in 2007 for his second opus which was born in 2008: Citizen Brain. Very productive, Gama Bomb does not stop in such a good way with a new album called Tales From The Grave In Space the following year. There are more and more concerts with Overkill, Exodus, Mutant, Sepultura, Onslaught and many others with a Hellfest in 2012. Irish people become inescapable in style and increase their reputation. That same year, John Roche replaced Luke with six strings, then the band returned to studio and book The Terror Tapes in 2013 via AFM Records. Two years later, Untouchable Glory was born on the same label.
