Genghis Tron

Genghis Tron is an American trio bringing together 3 high school friends with very diverse background music. Indeed, the combo quotes skill mix Drive Like Jehu , Converge , Skinny Puppy , Burzum , Immortal , Botch among their references. Musically speaking, the band produces a very digital grindcore that uses both the ultra fast blasts of the rhythm boxes and the electronic loops for an amazing result of consistency and efficiency. After a first EP ( Cloak of Love), Genghis Tron called on Kurt Ballou ( Converge ) to record their first album, Dead Mountain Mouth , which symbolically released on 06/06/06. Two years later, they signed with Relapse Records and released Board Up The House , a second album that replaced progressive aspects without abandoning the original energy of their music.
