Biography

Mike Lévy was born in Lyon in 1985 and began making music at the age of 16 when he discovered the synth. It was in 2008 that he took the pseudonym of Gesaffelstein by launching himself in electronic music with two eps, Vengeance Factory and Modern Walk . For four years, Gesaffelstein worked on several eps, as well as many remixes for Cassius, David Carretta, Moby, Agoria and Lana Del Rey. He gets more and more known until the use of his title Viol for a Citroën advertisement. In 2013 he produced Kanye West's Send It Up and collaborated with Daft Punk and Brodinski. But it is also his first album, Aleph , that propels him on the front of the stage allowing him to perform in major international festivals.
