Biography

It was in the cold regions of Jyväskylä in Finland that Ghost Brigade formed in 2005 with Manne Ikonen (Chant), Tommi Kiviniemi and Wille Naukkarinen (Guitares), Janne Julin (Basse) and Veli-Matti Suihkonen (Battery). The combo then develops a personal Metal-Progressive that borrows Doom, Postcore and Dark-Metal elements in its compositions. After signing with Season Of Mist, Ghost Brigade released Guided By Fire in 2007. Their mix seduces them, they start to make a name, then two years later Isolation Songs comes out in the bins, their fame becoming even more established. Ghost Brigade has notably turned alongside metal stage leaders such as Insomnum or Paradise Lost and is confirmed for the 2010 Hellfest. In 2011, the Finnish toured all over Europe, but also released their third track, Until Fear No Longer Defines Us . In 2013, Janne Julin left the combo while the group recruited his successor, Joni Saalamo, but also a keyboardist in the person of Joni Vanhanen. The now sextet starts with the composition of IV - One With The Storm released in 2014.
