Biography

Girl Band is a band from Dublin founded in 2011 and composed of singer Dara Kiely, guitarist Alan Duggan, bassist Daniel Fox and drummer Adam Faulkner. After a first ep entitled France 98, which was released in 2012, the band started to shoot in its country of origin. In 2013, things accelerated with their reprise of the song Why They Hide Their Bodies Under My Garage? composed by Blawan , a DJ from British Industrial Techno. The band took advantage of this publicity to go to the UK. In 2015, after a signature at the legendary Rough Trade label, Girl Band released an ep (The Early Years) and her debut album Holding Hands With Jamie. However, health concerns often prevent the group from shooting as it wishes, despite a massive success of esteem in the underground scene, especially overseas. After four years of silence, including two without giving any news, the band returns with a new album, The Talkies, announced a few months earlier by the single Shoulderblades.
