Girls In Hawaii formed in 2001 in Belgium and each of the two initiators of the project, Antoine and Lionel, composed a few tracks for a first demo for a year. After some mailings and other positive feedback from concerts, the duo decided to strengthen its line-up with the addition of four (new) members, including two brothers. A meeting with Pierre and Philippe of 62 TV Records (M. Ward , Venus ,...) and the label then released their first EP, Found In The Ground - The Winter in February 2003, followed a few months later by a first long-duration album, From Here To There , distributed in france by Naïve. The release of a second opus is scheduled for 2007, and more specifically for October.
