Glassjaw emerged in New York in 1993, formed on the ashes of Sons Of Abraham the band released its first album in 2000, Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence, on Roadrunner with Ross Robinson at the handlettes ( Korn , Limp Bizkit , Slipknot ), but Glassjaw does not give in Neo Metal, it is also a bit difficult to clearly define the music of the five New Yorkers, oscillating between Emo/Hardcore and Metal the band aguiches both the kids and the metal hairs. In 2002, the band released its second album, Worship&Tribute , still under Ross Robinson's leadership, and confirmed its talent. Daryl Palumbo, the band's leader, has a very different but equally interesting side project with Dan The Automator: Head Automatica , which released his first album in 2004. A four-year hiatus ensues, which will still see the band preparing a tour with The Used , aborted by the resurgence of the symptoms of Crohn's disease contracted earlier by Daryl Palumbo. After a few turbulent episodes between England and the United States, Glassjaw came up with the head of the water, announcing concrete in 2009 and a dry break with Roadrunner. This will lead two years later to the EP Coloring Book, more focused on electronics and experimentation. Silence radio between 2011 and 2015, the band then posted a new title on its Soundclound page, New White Extreme, which will prove to be the first single in the third long format, Material Control , laid in 2017, hosted by Century Media.
