Glowsun
Biography
Glowsun was born in 1997. After two demos and several line-up changes, the band stabilized in 2005 around Johan Jaccob (Guitare / Chant) Ronan Chiron (Basse) and Fabrice Cornille (Battery) with the 4 titles Lost Love . Glowsun's Stoner-Rock-Psyché sound will soon be noticed by the Belgian label Buzzville Records, who then signed the trio for a first album. The Sundering , released in 2008 and will trigger European recognition for the group. From then on, Glowsun performed in France, notably with Karma To Burn and Yawning Man, but also in Germany, Switzerland, Holland and Belgium. After increasingly assertive performances like in 2011 at the Stoned From Underground Festival where he shared the stage with My Sleeping Karma , Monster Magnet or Church of Misery , Glowsun recorded a vinyl split with the German band Electric Moon under the label Sulatron Records. At the end of 2011 Glowsun toured with Sungrazer and Hypnos 69, and at the beginning of 2012 the trio began the preparation of a second new album at the Elecrik Box studio. Driven by an irresistible desire to play on stage, Glowsun returned to the road again, they were seen at the Desertfest in Berlin and in June at the Duna Jam with Fatso Jetson and Atomic Bichtwax. In September 2012, the band toured for 15 days with the travelling Up In Smoke IV festival. The latest album Eternal Season , once again mixed and recorded by Olivier T'servrancx, mastered by Goran Finnberg, was released in October 2012. Freshly signed on the famous Austrian label, Napalm Records, Glowsun is now a reference of the genre in Europe!
