Biography

Gonoreas is a Swiss heavy metal band from Brugg, in the canton of Aargau. It was founded in 1994 by guitarist Damir Eskic, his only permanent member. After a pair of demos released as The Gonorrheas, the band abbreviated its name and released a first EP in 2001, Soul Cries Out. It was in 2003 that the band went through the box of the first album with Outbreak , followed in 2007 by Plead Not Guilty , after which Gonoreas embarked on a tour that he immortalized with the live Guilty On The Road (2009). The release continues: Apocalypse in 2011, The Mask Of Shame in 2013, a second live in 2014, and Destructive Ways in 2015. Two years later, the band signed with Miner Recordings for the Guardian Of Time compilation, and the sixth opus, Minotaur, in 2018.
