Graf Orlock
Biography
Formed in Los Angeles in 2003, Graf Orlock takes his name from the movie Nosferatu (Count Orlok, but named Graf Orlok in German) and consists of members of Greyskull, Arctic Choke, Dangers and Ghostlimb. The concept behind Graf Orlock is simple: use in each title extracts from Terminator , Aliens or Robocop , developing what they call "cinema-grind".
Behind the name are several students who created the controversy with a project called Destination Time Yesterday (later becoming an album, the first of the trilogy pursued by Destination Time Tomorrow and Destination Time Today). They also have their own Vitriol Records label, which has released albums from Teeth, Ghostlimb, Birds in Row, Thou, Comadre and Trainwreck.
