Biography

The story of Graveyard begins on the ashes of Norrsken , a group that splintered in 2000, in which Nilsson and Edlund played with a certain Magnus Pelander, who went to train Witchcraft . The two compares move to Gothenburg and join Albatross , where they cote Sjöberg. However, after a few years, the desire to play a slightly more angry rock made them leave the band in 2006 to found Graveyard with Sjöberg and Truls Mörck (guitar/song). A handful of rehearsals and a two-track demo are enough for the band to sign a deal for the release of a first album by the compatriots of Transubstans, then by the American label TeePee. Note that during registration, Mörck left the group and was replaced by Ramm. The album, eponymous, was released in September 2007. The warm welcome he receives allows Graveyard to turn intensely, alongside such formations as Witchcraft, Clutch or Witch, among others. After having used a lot of boards and tires and released a split with Ancestors , the band returned to the studio in 2010 to compose a second opus. Hisingen Blues was born in March 2011 at Nuclear Blast. The album was a great success, which was even more the reputation of Graveyard and his nervous rock and a little psyched on the edges. In 2012, the band announced that it had finished recording its third album, entitled Lights Out , which is scheduled to be released in late October. Line up : Joakim Nilsson (song, guitar), Rikard Edlund (bass) Axel Sjöberg (battery) Jonatan "Svala" LaRocca Ramm (guitar)
