The story of Gravity Slaves began in 1995 on the side of Orléans. The quartet - Ben, coming from Bundies will only integrate the squad in 2002 - plays fast and accumulates demos. In 1997, the K-Side association of the Keneda group gave him the opportunity to participate in the Salade de Bruits compilation. The group's reputation reached a level when he took over the first part of Burning Heads and Seven Hate at the Zig d'Orléans in 1998. From then on, Gravity Slaves multiplied the appearances on compils, self-produced a 6 tracks in 2000 and released his first album, Choice, two years later. Meanwhile the band continues to tour in order to gain experience on stage. As a result, more than 150 dates in support of national groups such as the mythical Portobello Bones, Sixpack or Lofofora but also international such as Human Alert and 59 Times the Pain. Gravity Slaves returned to the studio in 2004 to record Come Down, released on the label The Age of Venus. Very well received, the album allows the band to gain some national reputation. In 2005, Julien, the singer, left the formation. This does not prevent Gravity Slaves from continuing his journey. The band entered the BouDC Studio in 2006 for the recording of its third album, Dust, which was released in November at Opposite Prod., Burning Heads' label. The release of the album is followed by intensive rehearsals with Youki, the drummer of the Baxters, which suggests a break from Tibo. After a split and a lot of dates shared with the Caennais de Ravi , Gravity Slaves began to compose their fourth album, the Vertigo Chronicles , to be released in 2011 on Opposite records.
