Gridlink

Gridlink is a technical Grindcore band founded in 2004 in Hoboken, New Jersey by Takafumi Matsubara (Guitare), Jon Chang (Chant), Keisuke Okada (Basse) and Takiya Terada (Battery). In 2006, the group underwent some line-up changes where Bryan Fajardo ( Phobia , Kill The Client ) replaced Takiya behind the drums. Keisuke also leaves the combo without bassist and therefore continue in trio. This is how the ep Amber Gray came out in 2008 at Hydra Head Records. The ep gets very good returns and a good promotion thanks to the label. In 2010, the trio became a quintet with the arrival of bassist Teddy Patterson III (Burnt By The Sun) and a second guitarist, Steve Procopio. Gridlink thus recorded are second ep, Orphan, in 2011. The label also decides in the same year to reissue both eps together in the compilation format. In 2014, the first album, Longhena , was finally released via Selfmadegood Records before the band paused indefinitely.
