Grieving Age
Biography
Grieving Age is formed thanks to the meeting of Ghassan Fudail (Guitare) and Ahmed Shawli (Chant) in 2003 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, who evoke the idea of forming a group, without this being realized. It was only a year later that the two musicians met and really launched their project by forming a line-up consisting of Hosam Tammar (Basse), Emad Mujalled (Batterie), Deya'a Azoni (Guitare / Violin) and Abdullah Sabab (Claviers) in order to start repeating. A first demo called My Hopeless River was created in 2005 and a buzz was formed locally around the band, fueled more by the release of a second demo, In Solace Enthroned By Thorns , in 2007. It was in 2009 that Grieving Age took the lead and released his first album In Aloof Lantern, Thy Bequeathed A Wailer Quietus... , with Dan Swanö at the controllers and Aaron Stainthorpe (My Dying Bride ) at the artwork. The band is even invited to the Doom Shall Rise 2010. The band signed with Solitude Productions for the release of Merely The Fleshless We And The Awed Obsequy in 2013 which continues in line with a Doom / Death Metal inspired by the Big Three of Peaceville Records.
