Along with Reflections Records, GSR Music (abbreviated by Gang Style Records), is currently the undisputed leader of European hardcore.
Founded in 2000, the Maastricht label has since grown in importance, increasing its output from year to year until becoming one of the most important providers of extreme music in operation. He played a major role in the progress of Born From Pain , a pillar of the label. Until its recent departure from Metal Blade Records in 2004, the Dutch band had released two albums with GSR, a split and the mcd Immortality , considered the foundation of the inde structure. In addition to such confirmed trainings as Knuckledust , Born From Pain or Madball , GSR is also keen to make us discover others such as Zero Mentality , Path Of No Return or The Setup , albeit more modest, but whose undeniable potential should allow us to claim a renouncing at least equal to that of their peers. Promoter of his own team, GSR is also one of other labels such as StrikeFirst Records (The Redemption Song , Call To Preserve ), Facedown Records ( No Innocent Victim , Looking Forward ) and Thorp Records ( Ironbound NYC , Ramallah , On The Outside ) of which he is one of the dedicated distributors.
