Guilt Machine

Guilt Machine is one of many projects of Arjen Anthony Lucassen, mainly known to be Ayreon's brain. Being too accustomed to writing science fiction and rather wanting to explore human psychology, the Dutchman leaves his companion Lori Linstruth (ex Stream Of Passion) to write the lyrics. The couple, both guitarists in Guilt Machine, surrounds Chris Maitland (ex Porcupine Tree) with drums and Jasper Steverlinck (ex Arid). The album On This Perfect Day, which appeared in 2009 at Mascot Records, is in line with Arjen Anthony Lucassen's darkest tracks, while remaining progressive and melodic evoking what Anathema or Riverside do. The band no longer gives news since the release of this album.
