Gus G

At the age of 18, Gus G. joined the Berklee University of Music but would only stay there for a few weeks, quickly preferring to set up his own band, Firewind. The first demo of the band will quickly make talk about her, and Gus G. to be noticed: he is then recruited into Nightrage, Dream Evil and Mystic Prophecy. It will take four years and 2002 for Firewind's first album, Between Heaven And Hell , to be released. In 2005, he joined Arch Enemy for an album, Doomsday Machine, and a tour. In 2009, he was contacted by the management of Ozzy Osbourne, who asked him to come and audition with the group. Shortly afterwards he was officially in the band and gave his first concert alongside Ozzy during the BlizzCon 2009. Since 2012, Gus G. has been working on the composition of his first solo album, I Am The Fire , which was released in 2014, while a tour with Marty Friedman will be in Europe in the spring.
