Biography

Originally from New York, H2O was born between 1993 and 1994 of the will of Toby Morse (Chant), then roadie of Sick Of It All with whom he made some notable stage appearances. He joined his old childhood boyfriend Rusty Pistacchio (Guitare / Chant) and recruited Eric Thrice (Basse) and Max Capshaw (Battery) with whom he made his first concert in December 1994. Local success is not expected and when demo requests exceed all expectations, H2O records a mini album on the Equal Visions Records label.

After a European tour with Sick Of It All and CIV, the band underwent some line-up changes. Max Capshaw was replaced by Todd Friend and a second guitarist appeared, Todd Morse Toby's brother. The first eponymous album by H2O was released in 1996 on the label Blackout Records .

In 1997, the band changed its status and signed the album Thicker Than Water on Epitaph Records. Adam Blake (Basse) also replaced Eric, then two years later released F.T.T.W and in 2001 the album Go was announced. After five years of waiting, the composition of a new album is announced in 2006, but it will still take two years before the band enters the studio. Finally, Nothing To Prove , H2O's fifth album was released in May 2008 at the prestigious Bridge Nine Records label. In 2011, the band released Don't Forget Your Roots, a recapture of major bands from the Punk/Harcore scene, including Rancid, Social Distortion, Sick Of It All, Madball, Ramones, Gorilla Biscuits ... Their next album, California , arrives the same year, with always the same recipe on the menu.
