Hacride
Biography
Hacride (deformation of acrid English meaning acre) formed in 2001 in Poitiers by Benoist Danneville (Basse), Adrien Grusset (Guitare), Olivier Lafond (Batterie), but it was after Samuel Bourreau's arrival in 2002 to sing that the band recorded a demo. Cyanide Echoes was released in 2003. This demo opens doors to them and Hacride makes the first part of bands like Loudblast or Gojira. With this live experience, Hacride concretizes with a first album. They entered the studio with Frank Hueso and released Deviant Current Signal in 2005, at Listable Records, and earned a solid reputation in the community. A brutal tour followed, the Deviant Tour I and II. In 2007, Hacride returned with a second album, Amoeba , very well received by the press. A jewel of the associative collective Klonosphere, including groups like Klone , Trepalium , or GTI , Hacride quickly became a French reference on the international metal scene. We must wait two years before the band gives birth to Lazarus , a third album on which Hacride continues to chart his way towards the first ranks of the French and international metal landscape. In 2010, Olivier Laffond left the band and was replaced by Mike Roponus (Om Mani ) on the tour. At the end of 2012, Hacride fell apart with the departure of Samuel Bourreau. Poitevins return stronger in 2013 with the arrival of Florent Marcadet (Battery - Klone , Step In Fluid ) and Luis Roux (Sinscale ) and especially a new album signed by Indie Recordings : Back To nWhere You've Never Been .
