Biography

Jørn Inge Tunsberg (ex Immortal), Remi (ex Dark) trained Hades in Bergen in 1992. Quickly joined by two other musicians (Janto Garmanslund and Wilhelm Nagel), the band recorded an Alone Walkyng demo in June 1993. Unfortunately, Tunsberg was arrested and sentenced for burning a church with Varg Vikernes (Burzum). This does not prevent the musicians from signing with Full Moon Productions for a first album ...Again Shall Be who debunked in 1994, while Nagel was replaced by Stig Hagenes as guitarist. Hades quickly recorded a second opus Dawn Of The Dying Sun, put on sale 3 years after the first album. After a tour in Europe and the USA, Hades was forced to rename Hades Almighty following the complaint of an American band of the same name. The musicians returned home to compose and invade the studios in September 1998 for Millennium Nocturne, which was released at Nuclear Blast. After a new series of concerts with Immortal , Mayhem or Primordial , a new opus was recorded : Pulse Of Decay , initially distributed by Psycho Bitch Records and then by Dark Essence Records in 2004. After more than 10 years of silence Hades Almighty returns at the end of 2015 with an EP, Pyre Era, Black! . This one sweats the Black Metal made in Scandinavia.
