Biography

Halestorm (not to be confused with Alestorm) is an American rock/hard rock band led by singer/guitarist Lzzy Hale. She formed the band with her brother Arejay (battery) in 1997, when they were only 13 and 10 years old. Things are really taking shape from 2003 with the arrival of Joe Hittinger (guitar) and Josh Smith (bass) in 2004. The line-up hasn't changed since. In 2005, a contract was signed with Atlantic Records. A first live EP, One And Done, appeared a little later that year, which allowed the young band to play with bands like Seether and Shinedown. It is then necessary to wait until 2009 for an eponymous record to be recorded. Since then, Halestorm has released albums (The Strange Case Of... in 2012, Into The Wild Life in 2015), EPs of covers (the three ReAnimate) and tours. The fourth opus, Vicious , is announced for July 2018.
