Biography

A prominent member of the current hardcore scene, Hatebreed made his first steps in 1994, largely inspired by the great figures of the time, namely Biohazard, Madball, Sick of it all, Agnostic front. After a few splits and other demos, the band released Under The Knife then Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire , which placed Hatebreed among the best hardcore bands of its generation, but it was only in 2002 with Perseverance that the band of charismatic Jamey Jasta experienced international success. Thanks to the addition of many metal keys, Hatebreed creates a much more personal sound. October 2003, the band released The Rise Of Brutality. Without trying to renew its style, Hatebreed intends to show the rest of the world that the succession is assured.
2006 sees Hatebreed's return with Supremacy , more metal oriented. In 2009, shortly before the release of For the Lions , Sean Martin announced his departure from the band after nearly a decade of good and loyal services. The main reason is his desire to take full-time care of his tattoo salon (Brass City Tattoo). He will be replaced in his post by Wayne Lozinak, a comeback in grace for Hatebreed's former guitarist. He appeared on the DVD Live Dominance as a roadie and on the album Blackened with Chris Beattie and Dave Russo. The band finished recording their album The Divinity of Purpose , which they released on January 29, 2013. The cover is created by Eliran Kantor ( Testament , Sodom ). In 2016, the quintet appeared at their ninth galette, The Concrete Confessional still at Nuclear Blast.
