Biography

It was in 2000 that the Danish band Hatesphere composed of Jacob Bredahl sang, Peter Lyse Hansen and Henrik Jacobsen on guitars, Anders Gyldenøhr behind the drums and Mikael Ehlert on bass. 2002 is the year that really propels the band on the scene Thrash-Metal with the release of its first album, Blooded Hatred, mixing angry guitars, soli, drummer, all carrying a resolutely powerful voice. As a result of this album, the live stream across Europe along with major pillars of the stage such as Mastodon, The Haunted and Testament. The following year released an ep Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed And Something Black composed of 7 tracks including 4 live. What brings out the group of the lot is undeniably its live performances which are praised by many specialized magazines; to the point that it is dedicated to the best live band in Denmark on the occasion of the Metal Awards. The band returned to the studio in 2004 and recorded the album Ballet Of The Brute , in line with the previous ones, with perhaps a touch of additional violence and a vaguely HxC atmosphere that received a mixed welcome from fans. An intermediate EP of 4 tracks called The Killing is then composed by the quintet, with as a bonus a cover of the Suicidal Tendencies, before the release of their last album in 2005, The Sickness Within. In April 2007 Serpent Smiles And Killer Eyes , still mixed by Tue Madsen, was released. The band embarks on a big summer tour with several dates in China, a first.
