Biography

Yuta : singing, guitar Toru : bass, chorus Hatano : drums
Under the leadership of Hatano, drummer of the BBQ Chickens, Hawaiian6 formed in 1997 and signed with the indie label Step Up Records ( Holstein , Jr Monster , Traditional Box , Fuck You Heroes ...) Their first titles appear on the compilation of the label Out Of This World vol.1 (1999); They were followed in 2000 by EP Fantasy and EP split with Branch entitled Word.
In 2001 they made nearly 150 dates in Japan; Ken Yokoyama ( Hi-Standard ) is present on several of them and decides to sign them on his label Pizza Of Death Records. Good idea since Souls , the first 14 titles released in August 2002 will sell more than 100,000 copies. After 2 years of intensive tours (including a notable participation at the Fuji Rock Festival), they will stop almost only to record the EP Across The Ending (2003). After a well-deserved rest, they returned to the studio to put in the box Beginnings (August '05), the second long-duration album of the Japanese who offered for the occasion a tour in large national halls. In '06 they participate in an album tribute to the famous national punks Garlic Boys.
With a career already well launched, they take the time to set up in January '07 their own label Ikki Not Dead, to compose an EP Rings, and to release a first DVD ( 10 Years) then end 2009 a third full album, Bonds. After a few months of national tour.
