Biography

Head Automatica, it's been a while since we heard about this band, at the beginning a little skeptical, the meeting between Daryl Palumbo (singer of Glassjaw) and Dan The Automator (Dj more than prolific who worked with Gorillaz, The X-cuters, Loving, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Prince Paul, Primal Scream, Kid Koala, INXS, ... (and the list is greatly shortened). Their first album is gradually recorded between 2002 and 2004, Decadence released in 2004, and mixes a lot of styles: pop, electro, rock, disco, funk, hip-hop. A new experience for Daryl Palumbo who adds a string (vocal?) to his bow, and Dan The Automator who again signs a success. Following the tour to promote the record, Palumbo feels that the status of side-project becomes too narrow for Head Automatica, and that he has all the elements to become a full band. In this capacity, the combo focuses on Daryl Palumbo (sing), Larry Gorman (drums), Jarvis Morgan (bass), Jessie Nelson (guitars), and Craig Bonich (claviers). So exit Dan The Automator , while Head Automatica is already working on his second album and the tours are more beautiful. The US uses the services of producer Howard Benson ( POD , My Chemical Romance ) to produce Popaganda , which is scheduled for release in early June 2006.
