Biography

It was in 1994 that the first meeting of the two founding members of Heavenly took place: Ben Sotto (current singer/songwriter of the band) and Max Pilo (first drummer of the band). The first demo was released in 1998. 3 tracks powerful enough to impress the production company Noise Record, which decides to broadcast this demo on their website for the competition "Be your own label boss". The public's reaction is immediate and Heavenly is the winner of the contest. Noise Record therefore offered his first contract to the band in 1999 which immediately reached the spot and in May 2000 released the first album which took over the title of the demo: Coming from the sky . Guests of the combo on this album, Kai Hansen ( Gamma Ray ) and Piet Sielk ( Iron Savior ) place their voices on a title ("Time Machine"), Piet Sielk is also at the production controls of the album. The style of the band is (and remains) pure Heavy/Speed type Gamma Ray or Helloween . In 2000/2001, Heavenly opened the concerts for Symphony X and Stratovarius. In September 2001 the band released its second album: Sign Of The Winner . Coproduced by Tommy Hansen (Helloween , Pretty Maids ). Heavenly made the first part of the band Edguy's tour for 6 weeks and played the Wacken Open Air in August 2002. The third album: Dust To Dust , co-produced by Sacha Paeth ( Angra , Rhapsody ) is ready throughout 2003 and released in January 2004. But 2004 is a black year that sees the departure of guitarist, bassist and drummer. Heavenly will take more than 2 years to recover and form a new line-up as well as to get into the lead of the XIII Bis Record Prod House. In September 2006 the new album : Virus was released. Co-produced by Philip Colodetti ( Rhapsody Of Fire) in a style that oscillates between Power Metal, Heavy melodic and Speed epic and symphonic. Note also the participation of guests of choice: keyboardist Kevin Codfert ( Adagio), singer Tony Kakko ( Sonata Artica ) and singer Tanja ( Lullacry ) In 2007, Heavenly was chosen by the band Scorpion to play first part on their French tour.
