Biography
Heavenly Creatures was born in 2004 in Paris from the imagination of
Richard Turek aka Dr. Ohm (seeing the British series Dr. Who).
Influenced by the greatest names of the emerging electronic scene
the period ( Tangerine Dream , Kraftwerk , Jean-Michel Jarre ) and the New Wave of the 80's ( Dead Can Dance , The Cure , The Sisters of Mercy , Bauhaus ...)
he explores different musical currents up to a Gothic base with
styles combining Dark Ambient, Neo-Classic and Folk. More
concept that group itself, its members are to geometry
variable. Dr. Ohm surrounds other artists independent of the scene
gothic international, for various collaborations, such as
singer Dae Noctem ( Era Nocturna ) or Andra Dare and Alex Taylor&The Evil Eye . Heavenly Creatures is also accompanied on stage by Morgane Chavaneau with harp and Jean-Noël Jaspero with violin. Adventure
start with the creation of a first eponymous EP in 2006, in a
sonority combining Trip-Hop and World, then a first album, Forever, Always, the following year still in the company of singer Ysah Eyres. The musical turn with New Blood - Parts I&II , which is more towards Dark Ambient Gothic , was released in December 2008. Two years later, Dr. Ohm realized the O.S.T. of the book Morts Sûres . In 2011 he returned with a new production: La Tristesse de L'Ange and then a soberly best-of called The Essential in October 2012. Since then, new songs have appeared, including Osmose with Phil K. on the label Black Rose Music, perhaps announcing a new album.
