Trained in Portland around 2000 by five friends including Derek Wilman (Remains Of The Day , From Ashes Rise , Coldbringer ), Hellshock draws his influences from the Crust of the 1980s and the Scandinavian raw punk. The first album, Only the Dead Know the End of War , was recorded in 2004. A year later, Hellshock signed Shadows of the Afterworld followed by two eps. In the oven and mill, Derek Wilman took advantage of a three-year hiatus to launch The Estranged before re-launching the machine in 2009 for a Japanese tour with Age followed by a European tour. The new album, They Wait For Your Still, is expected to be released in early 2010.
