Hester Prynne

Hester Prynne formed in 2006 and despite many changes in line-up, earned a reputation until the release of a first EP Brothel in 2008, followed by an album by Torque Records in early 2009, The Goswell Divorce. The band consists of Matt Bukaty (Guitare), Stepahn Mann (Guitare), Lance Rollins (Chant), Caleb Moulder (Basse) and Johandy Ureña (Battery) and is originally from Kansas City.The band derives its name from Nathaniel Hawthorne's novel La Lettre Ecarlate. History lies between 1642 and 1649 in the USA and tells the story of a woman facing American Puritanism. In 2013, Hester Prynne returned with a self-produced album: Black Heart Market.
