Biography

Hightower was formed in Paris in 2013 by the two cousins Romain Mariani (Batterie) and Jérémie Lombard (Guitare). They added Alexis Calvi as bassist, Benjamin Dubois as second guitarist and Vincent Crespel as singer. They don't go through the recording of a demo to make themselves known because in 2014, they went to the United States in Los Angeles, recording their first album Sure. Fine. Whatver. at the Omen Room studio with Steve Evetts (Poison The Well, Sepultura, The Cure). That same year, they toured Finland and France with One Hidden Frame . In 2015, their album Sure. Fine. Whatever. released on the Parisian label Knives Out Records. They just started a tour with Fake Shakes on a part of Europe (France, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Slovakia). In April, they flew across the Channel to tour the Fairview band in Britain. Early 2016, Attila Racz replaced Vincent for singing and then Hightower played at festivals such as the Rhinos Feroces and made dates in France and Germany. At the end of 2016, they resumed a flight to Los Angeles to record their second album with Steve Evetts still at the Omen Room studio. They announce the signing of the second album with the French label Krod Records for the release in Europe and with the label Far Channel Records for the Japanese release. A first single The Party was released on May 22, 2017 and the album Club Dragon was released in September 2017.
