
Hildur Gudnadottir
Biography
Hildur Ingveldardóttir Guðnadóttir is an Icelandic cellist, best known for his various collaborations and appearances with múm and Pan Sonic. After studying musicology in Berlin, Guðnadóttir returned to Iceland where she joined the collective Kitch Motors, a label and collective responsible for the production of various artistic works (concerts, books, films, operas...) and chaperoned by composer Jóhann Jóhannsson.
Mount A, his first album, recorded as Lost In The Hildurness, was released in 2006. A multi-instrumentalist, the artist assures all vocal parts in addition to the cello, harp and vibraphone. Very influenced by the visual side of the music, she wrote several musics for plays and operas and original film tapes.
Hildur Guðnadóttir released Without Sinking , under his own name, in 2009, which saw Jóhann Jóhannsson's participation on a song.
