Hiretsukan

Hiretsukan was born in summer '98 in Maryland. A week after the combo was formed, Derek, the bassist moved to New York. For two years, Derek, Justin (battery), Dave (guitar/song)... live miles away from each other making it difficult to organize rehearsals! Nevertheless, they continue the band with different singers and a demo 4 tracks is even born. In the spring of 2000, almost all of them (with the exception of one member) gathered in New York and lived there. Michelle filled the vacant place with singing and Hiretsukan composed new songs. The first Mini CD 7 tracks Invasive//Exotic released in May 2002 on the G7 Welcoming Committee (Label of Chris and Jord of Propagandhi) and it is produced by the legend of New York hardcore Don Fury. Unfortunately, the combo splits at the end of November without any success!
This may be done in the future because the band is reforming at the beginning of 2004 (they all now live in the same area), records tracks in July and releases an album entitled End States for G7 in July '05 (the CD is distributed in France by Paranoid Records )... After a few scattered concerts, they left on the Quebec roads in October '06 with their 'labelmates' from Propagandhi and GFK.
