Middle '94, HomeGrown formed in Orange County, California. In 1995, with their first album That's business, they are already distributed in Europe by Burning Heart Records. The power pop punk ska recipe works at the time and the Swedish label comes out Wusappening?! the following year. The band that is growing ever more in size becomes really known after tours with Blink 182 , Unwriter Law and the release of Act Your Age on Outpost/Geffen records in '98. Since then, the Home Grown have refined their sound and the ska has gradually disappeared even though the lyrics they often still talk about breaking. In 2002, they signed on Drvie-Thru Records, an essentially popular pop punk label, to release Kings of pop which marks a turning point in the band's music...
