Horse The Band

HORSE the Band was born in 1999 in Lake Forest, California, by Nathan Winneke (song), Erik Engstrom (synthes), David Isen (guitar), Dash Arkenstone (bass), and Eli Green. Fooled of hardcore, heavy metal and old video games, the five barjots will practice a style that they will happily baptize Nintendocore, assisted by the very 8-bit sounds of the Korg MS2000 synth. It is however in the form of an EP that they will make their debut in 2002 with Beautiful Songs By Men, just a few months before their first album R. Borlax in 2003. Running many kilometers to spread the fun fever, the band will only be back in 2005 with The Mechanical Hand , its second opus produced by Matt Bayles ( Pearl Jam , Isis , Botch , Yakuza , Mastodon ...). Then head for the road with Poison The Well or The Fall Of Troy for many tours, before HORSE the Band tried again at the EP exercise in 2006, and simply named Pizza.
