House Of Brothers
Biography
The idea was already sprouting in Andrew Jackson's head when he left Scarecrows and then The Murder of Rosa Luxembourg. The idea would be to focus on the composition and arrangement of pieces, without doing too much. This is how Jackson gave a name to his new project late '06, and played his first opening concert of Loney, Dear early '07. A few 'zines and webzines talk about his solo performance, which will begin with concerts to be enriched with a drum or keyboard here and there.
All of this will soon be happening to the ears of the omnipotent Kevin Douch, a man who is doing everything on the Big Scary Monsters indie label. Jackson chose this last label rather than Holy Roar and in November 2007 released the EP Deadman .
After a year and a pair of tours touring the UK, the one man band (which becomes more and more a full-fledged band as his friends join him on stage) decided to take the step and settle in Nottingham where he (re)finds musicians more easily. Document 1 being already composed end '08, it only remains to put it in box. The cake will not be released on BSM but Helpless Records, with the help of Kartel Records. In May, the EP is available here and there but the release is pretty confidential.
Follows an additional tour and the band returns to studio at the end of July '09 to put in a new single, before focusing on writing a full opus.
