Biography

In five years of existence in its present form, Housebound had the time to become known on the roads of France and elsewhere. Designed for live performance, this training was launched in 1998 and received a decisive first impulse in 1999 with the recording of a demo headed by the collective Dirty8 that the band has just created. In 2000 Ludo (guitar) joined: Julian (guitar), Jonathan (basses), Paul (battery), and Zed (sing). Right away, their sound travels and blurs the tracks, both subtle and powerful. The Strasbourg combo distills a scraped and personal metal with perfectly digested influences. Around a metal-hardcore frame, Housebound unfolds sharp riffs, combining in its disturbed and indispensable rhythms a dark light of rage and appeasement with an implacable break science. For the hour, after four years of tours in France, and in prestigious halls such as the Dairy or the Pezner, clinging to the first parts of choice (Suicidal trends , Crazy town ...), faithful to must-see events (Dirty8 festival at the Dairy, artefact festival), it is a mature group that prepares us new compositions and leaves for the Bakery studio in Budapest in May 2005. Recorded and mixed by Zoltan Varga, We have daily based, since its release in April 2006, proves that the Housebound are also hardworking and that they have been able to win the bet of this particular exercise by transposing on cake their communicative fervour. The ‘On A Daily Foundation' tour, which starts with the release of the album in April 06, will end only in December 2007 and will be in Switzerland, Belgium, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Holland and of course in France with marathon tours such as the ‘Lazy / Fischer / Housebound Tour' in October 06 or the ‘Dirty8tour' tour in November 2007. The group is currently preparing the successor of On A Daily Basis... scheduled for autumn 2008..
